Dotted Swiss Dress & Slip For Vintage Cissy With Richard Original Hat & Bag - DollDreams By Natalie. No Doll.
The inspiration for this dress started out with an adorable red and white dotted "Richard Original" hat and bag set that I bought a few years ago.  When I found this wonderful dotted swiss fabric this summer I knew I had the perfect fabric to make a dress to go with them.  This is not the painted on or flocked dots that you often see but true thread dots.  I made the dress extremely full with a 2" deep hem like Cissy has learned to expect.  The bodice is lined with white vintage organdy, trimmed with white Val lace and closes with square snaps.  The waistband is a red satin ribbon.  The dress is quite sheer so I am including one of my white taffeta petticoats with an under ruffle of stiff petticoat net.  Dress and slip are both tagged with my personal "DollDreams By Natalie" label and made with love in my smoke free home.  No doll is included - just the dress, slip, hat, and bag.
