    Description

Henry Ford Museum 'Simon Willard' Mahogany Clock, crafted by Sligh of Holland, Michigan USA.
I purchased this fine clock at a Cape Cod auction several years ago.  I am only the 2nd owner.
Mahogany case with light wood inlays, brass accents, brass finials & brass weights.  The dial is a faithful museum-grade replica of a classic 'Simon Willard' clock from 18th-century New England.
The hood has glass windows on each side to be able to see the works in operation.  It features a brass key & lock for the lower door and a brass and mahogany wind-up key.  The hood also sports a beautiful, delicate cut-out fretwork crown.
This clock has a moon dial, which rotates over the month from the moon to an 18th-Century man among the stars.
The clock has several options as far as chimes:  NO chimes, Whittier, St. Michael's and Westminster.
It also has a 'Night" mode, which turns the chimes off from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m, which I use to keep me from counting the hours on sleepless nights.
Clock works smoothly and keeps excellent time.  It has hidden adjustable feet on the base to keep it leveled properly to insure good operation-- which I particularly appreciated on the sloping floors of this old house.
Condition is Used, but EXCELLENT.  No dings or scratches.
    Dimensions:
7' tall to top of finial
17 1/2" wide at its widest point
11 1/2" deep at its deepest point--the hood.
I have it in my entryway foyer, but it would look equally at home in a dining room, hallway or stair landing.
I own several antique clocks, but this one I actually USE.  It's a fine piece and works beautifully.  I hate to be selling it yet I am moving to smaller quarters and will have no proper place to enjoy it in my new place.  It deserves to be a showcase piece in someone's home.
Local pick-up preferred, or I will be happy to work with a buyer in arranging crating and shipping, at their expense.
I can also delivery within a 100-mile radius of 01915 or 05836 for a fee.
    I accept Paypal only.
