    Realart Re-release Half Sheet Poster from 1948 22x28 Fine Plus Paperbacked
    THE INVISIBLE MAN RETURNS was made in 1940 as a sequel to the famous 1933 film THE INVISIBLE MAN. This was to be Vincent Price's first role in a horror film. The film did very well at the boxoffice, a testament to the popularity of the Universal Horror pictures both at the time of their initial release and continuing until today. The was one of several films that Universal made from properties written by H.G. Wells. Later in 1940 the studio would continue in a comic vein with the release of THE INVISIBLE WOMAN. The movie also stars Cecil Kellaway, Sir Cedric Hardwicke and Nan Grey. It was directed by Joe May. This half sheet is from the Realart re-release of 1948. It is the best condition example we know of any half sheet from this film. The poster has been paperbacked and presents nicely.
