This ensemble is constructed in the style of and with the same attention to detail as Cissy's originals... My close up pics will show you exactly what you are bidding on. Today Cissy is modeling a sweet strapless dress I created using a nice vintage cotton dotted swiss fabric. Vintage red and blue baby Ric Rac trims this sweet dress. The bodice is lined with cotton and the 72" skirt has the 2" hem required. Cissy is posing with no petticoat, so this will stand out beautifully with one under it. It closes with 3 square snaps on the bodice and another on the skirt, all on a placket...!!!
Please note the picture of the dress back while Cissy is wearing it shows some stitching mistakes over the Ric Rac. I repaired that as shown in the next shot where the dress is on the table. I didn't catch it till I enlarged the photo...!!! Well goodness me, I just found another booboo right on the bodice front. It shall be fixed...!!!
Cissy has a cashmere cape I created from an adult "cutter" sweater. It closes with a hook and threaded eye. The ruffled edge creates an interesting look. It is 100% cashmere.
