    Description

    This is a set of two 1960s vintage vegetable or serving bowls from the Salem North Star line. The bowls have handles and measure 9 1/8 inches by 7 5/8 inches. One bowl has no chips or cracks and is in very good condition.  The other bowl is in good condition as far as color, but has a chip on the rim with a hairline crack in the glaze extending from it as shown in the pictures.  The chip appears to have been sealed with white porcelain paint. The motifs in both bowls have bright colors, but show a little wear. Both bowls have a few slight utensil marks and/or spots on the glaze.
