JOHANNESBURG -The ANC’s dismal performance in the May General elections featured heavily in its NEC’s four days of deliberations.
ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula acknowledged the party may have missed signals, leading up to the elections.
Mbalula says that while this is a cause for concern, it is learning from it.
Meanwhile, the ANC says it is recognising the strain that families are under due to the rising cost of food.
The party is now calling for an intervention, to expand the zero-rated goods.
